Jack Pine Trail

After many years of traveling to the west side of Algonquin Park, my husband Marcel and I decided to go to the east side and discovered the Jack Pine Trail. The trail was made famous by Tom Thompson and there is a memorial plaque on the trail honoring him. The tree in his famous painting is no longer standing and a new younger tree was planted in the same location. I couldn’t resist taking a picture and creating a fabric art scene. sold
